Call for submissions, KONOSO, the Journal Aegean Bronze Age Studies:

README! KONOSO the Journal of Aegean Bronze Age Studies is now calling for submissions for Vol. 1 2020. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Deadline for submissions has been postponed for an indefinite period. It is possible that the deadline may be April 30 2021, but this is not guaranteed.

Our Mission:

KONOSO, the Journal Aegean Bronze Age Studies, is dedicated to research into all aspects of Aegean Bronze Age studies, including Archaeology, Commerce and Trade, Linguistics (such as the early Cretan hieroglyphics, Linear A and the contributions of antecedent languages such as Hittite, Luwian and Anatolian among others, to its decipherment, Linear B and Linear C), the Military, Society and other aspects of Aegean Bronze Age studies not accounted for here. If you have any inquiries or questions over whether or not your proposed submission qualifies, you may contact
the Editor-in-Chief, Richard Vallance Janke on our Contact page and leave a Message.

It is absolutely essential that you read the Submission Guidelines page before submitting your paper.

Articles accepted for publication:

1. If your article is accepted for publication in Vol. 1 2020, it will be listed in alphabetical order by author in the Table of Contents of KONOSO, the Journal of Aegean Bronze Age Studies. There will be a hyperlink from your article listed by your author name + your title from the Table of Contents of KONOSO, the Journal Aegean Bronze Age Studies to your actual article on Academia.edu, or if you are not on Academia.edu, to your home site.

2. The first page will appear as illustrated here on your own Academia.edu page
with a reciprocal link from your article to the Table of Contents of KONOSO, Vol. 2020:

KONOSO, the Journal of Aegean Bronze Age Studies, is an academic journal in the field of Bronze Age studies focused on the Bronze Age syllabaries Minoan Linear A, Mycenaean Linear B and Arcado-Cypriot Linear C, as well as on the Bronze Age civilizations in Minoan Crete, with specific reference to the Minoan capital, Knossos, and to Mycenae and the Mycenaeans.  Aegean studies on the Cycladic civilization and pre-Minoan and Mycenaean studies are also covered. To be updated, more to come. This is merely a tentative introductory text. Vol. 1 of this annual journal will be published in late 2020.
